The SAM-550 mobile stage is capable of standing alone as the main stage for huge festivals, but can also fit perfectly into your stage fleet as a B-Stage. The SAM-550’s impressive size is complimented by its ease of setup. As a mobile unit, this stage is easily built by competent and experienced operators, yet boasts the strength of a full non-mobile system. This helps you reduce labor while still raising a roof capable of holding enormous rigging loads. Our SAM-550 mobile stage has traveled all over the country for shows of all sizes.

Our SAM-550 has a performance area of 50’ x 38’, and total load bearing roof capacity of 24,000 lbs (2,200 lb for each 12 rated rigging points and 1,000 lb at 3’ each for 2 front overhang extensions). Each of its sound wings are rated for 7,000 lb of weight, and can be outfitted with branded softgoods. The SAM-550’s roof flies 29’ 3” to trim, providing 27’ of clearance to the T1 truss.
We know that your ideas and event goals are often outside of the conventional, standard package. The SAM-550 can feature custom built scaffold wings, flanking video support, and much more to add on to the basic features built-in to the stage itself. By expanding the stage, the system can take the appearance of a much larger system, and also accommodate more production that may be needed for your event. Just because it isn’t typical doesn’t mean we can’t make it work.

Mountain Productions also has developed custom SAM-550 stage wings for equipment storage and offstage support. For full weather protection, Mountain builds the stage wings using our clearspan weather resistant panels. (Read more about our Clearspan weather panels and our Clearspan FOH here) This provides 2 flanking areas that can store equipment without the risk of damage. We also can build SAM-550 stage wings using our standard roof skins for adequate weather protection that doesn’t have to be as robust.
