CMA Fest returned to Nashville, Tennessee earlier this month and celebrated the incredible milestone of its 50th anniversary. As one of the largest country music events in the world, the festival showcases performances by some of the biggest names in country music ranging from world-renowned icons to exciting emerging artists and draws in thousands of fans from across the globe.
Having worked at CMA Fest since 2014, it’s always a pleasure for our crew to return to the country music capital of the world and provide our staging for the festival’s four incredible days of country music.
Unlocking Limitless Potential: Through the Adaptability of the MTN HD+
For this year’s 50th anniversary celebration, we provided the main stage located inside Nissan Stadium which was constructed from a combination of two of our MTN HD+ stages. The stage design included an 80′ wide proscenium, 40′ wide wings as well as a 48′ deep roof. In addition, the stage also included a 20′ deep downstage cantilever that provided the packed crowds inside Nissan Stadium with an even better view of this year’s incredible musical lineup that included the likes of Luke Combs, Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert and Dan + Shay.
Our MTN HD+ is one of our premier staging systems in use today. With a total capacity of 489,300 lbs and completely redesigned roof grid that can accommodate nearly any size show, it is capable of being configured for a span of up to 80’wide.
