Under Armour hosted a promotional event that they dubbed the “House of Innovation” at Grand Central Terminal as an interactive exhibit staged days before the 2014 Super Bowl. Appearances by Panthers’ QB Cam Newton, ballerina star Misty Coopeland, and UFC legend George St. Pierre helped draw in a large crowd for Under Armour’s promotion of their newest line of apparel. As an added exhibit, attendees to the event were given a sneak peek at Team USA’s 2014 Olympic gear.
Mountain Productions provided two “U” shaped truss structures that supported large projection panels for the House of Innovation. These curved truss pieces were supported by truss towers, and projectors rigged to the truss displayed the video and graphic elements on these screens. Mountain used a keder track system to rig the curved screens to the structure.
