Nashville is synonymous with musical talent, especially its roots in country music—after all, the Country Music Association (CMA) calls Nashville its home. For four days, Nashville transforms into a musical mecca, drawing over 400 artists and celebrities to the city for the annual CMA Music Festival. Country fans are in paradise during the CMA Music Festival and can visit a variety of hot spots in the city for different events and musical performances.

The main stage built in Nissan Stadium hosted performances by country’s biggest names, including Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Carrie Underwood, Charlie Daniels Band, Dierks Bently, Eric Church, and more. The award ceremony also took place in Nissan Stadium, and Mountain Productions is proud to have provided the Mountain Truss HD System for the main event. The Mountain Truss HD System is our largest, most robust stage system in our fleet and leads the industry in strength and performance. At the CMA Festival, the Mountain Truss HD System hung massive video screens which occupied the entire width and height of the stage wings. The main stage front of house structure was an intricate combination of the Rolling Roof mix and Clearspan front of house and provided camera access and an ideal area for the festival’s sound engineers to get to work. Two of the Mountain Truss delay towers were built behind the front of house structure for audio support.

Along with the main stage build, Mountain Productions also provided a truss tower stage and roof grid at the Walk of Fame Park for more musical performances throughout the four-day fest.
