Hundreds of eager festival-goers grabbed their hammocks and tents and headed to Rothbury, Michigan, for the 2016 Electric Forest<\/a> festival this past weekend. By the time attendees flocked to the forest, Mountain Productions was ready to show them, and the performers, a good time on a good stage.<\/p>\n

This year, Mountain Productions was responsible for the Sherwood Court Stage<\/strong>, the Observatory stage<\/strong>, the Forest stage<\/strong> and Hanger Stage<\/strong>, along with camping pods, risers<\/a>, barricades<\/a>, front of house positions<\/a>, and additional auxiliary structures put in place to ensure everyone enjoyed the immersive experience.<\/p>\n

Sherwood Court<\/h3>\n

When foresters wandered through Sherwood Forest, they came across our Mountain Mini system at Sherwood Court<\/strong>. The Mountain Mini system stood 57\u2019 tall with 18\u2019 wide audio bays and a 58\u2019 wide performance area. This system was the perfect fit for the elaborate d\u00e9cor and lights signature of Electric Forest. \u00a0You can read more about how our Mountain Mini system came to be from our blog.<\/a><\/p>\n

Observatory Stage<\/h3>\n

Walking through Sherwood Forest in the opposite direction proved to be equally entertaining. Here, at the Observatory stage<\/strong>, our Thomas Truss stage generates an energetic crowd. The openness of the low-profile Thomas Truss stage provides the perfect, customizable platform and grid<\/a> fit for carrying out this section\u2019s ornate theme without diminishing the forest feel.<\/p>\n

Forest Stage<\/h3>\n

The Forest stage<\/strong> is set directly in the heart of Sherwood Forest and is another of Mountain Production\u2019s Thomas Truss stages. As the crowds assembled through the tall pine trees, they found themselves greeted by the energetic music and the lightweight aluminum stage was perfect for easy and adaptable installment. Mountain Productions was able to help keep the forest alive for four days\u2014fueled by music and fun, but supported by a number of our stages and set-ups.
