Nashville is a high energy city that is legendary for its roots in music. The iconic Grand Ole Opry House, Country Music Hall of Fame, and Ryman Auditorium are just a few of the city\u2019s landmarks, and the entire area is alive with live music and performances. Nashville is historically known for country music, and is home to the CMT Awards and CMA Festival<\/strong>. Mountain Productions proudly provided staging for the 2016 CMA Festival, including our\u00a0MTN Truss HD+ System<\/a>\u00a0that stood as the main stage in Nissan Stadium for performances by Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, and more. The entire CMA Festival was spread out throughout Nashville, with shows taking place at Nissan Stadium, the Ascend Amphitheater, riverside, and on Broadway street.<\/p>\n

Inside Nissan Stadium, Mountain Productions built an MTN Truss HD+ with an 80\u2019 wide performance area with 40\u2019 audio bays and 60\u2019 of clearance. The entire stage stood 80\u2019 tall, and was flanked with loading docks, ramps, and stairs<\/a>. The Nissan Stage front of house structure was a custom mix position combining both our Rolling Roof design and our Clearspan FOH structure<\/a>. The entire structure stood approximately 28\u2019 tall and 20\u2019 wide by 55\u2019 long. The Clearspan FOH was built as a second level mix on top of scaffolding.<\/p>\n

Mountain Productions\u2019 built two delay towers using our MTN Truss columns<\/a>. This is our newest delay tower design, and provides a sleek look that also supports spot platforms. Each delay was 62\u2019 tall and supported two spot baskets each. Additionally, Mountain provided camera platforms, Terratrak groundcover flooring<\/a>, and seating throughout the stadium.<\/p>\n

Downtown by the Music City Walk of Fame, Mountain built a Truss Grid stage<\/a> with an 8 tower design that stood a total of 68\u2019 wide, 32\u2019 deep, and 30\u2019 tall. The 19\u2019 wide stage wings each supported video screens, and Mountain\u2019s engineering team supplied drawings for custom masking softgoods.<\/p>\n
