The NFL Draft is one of the biggest events in sports of the year (last year it was watched by a record 45.7 million viewers!) It just makes sense that Mountain Productions was asked to engineer and build one of the largest stage structures that we\u2019ve ever built for this major NFL event.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/blog\/2016\/04\/29\/event-recap-the-nfl-draft-selection-square\/nfldraft-7\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3698\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3698\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/NFLdraft-7.jpg\" alt=\"NFLdraft-7\" width=\"1008\" height=\"668\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/NFLdraft-7.jpg 1008w, https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/NFLdraft-7-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/NFLdraft-7-768x509.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1008px) 100vw, 1008px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The main stage was a structure made using 2 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/staging\/stagingsystems\/mtn-truss-hd-plus.php\">our largest system, the MTN Truss HD+<\/a>. The performance area was a staggering 123\u2019 deep and 120\u2019 wide, with two 40\u2019 wings and stood 72\u2019 from the ground to the roof. A 105\u2019 deep by 210\u2019 wide deck area extends out on the downstage edge. 4 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/staging\/support\/vip.php\" target=\"_blank\">floating VIP areas<\/a> were integrated into the interior sides of the stage wings. This massive structure also was clad in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/staging\/support\/weather.php\" target=\"_blank\">weather protection<\/a>\u00a0side wall panels and roofs skins as well as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/staging\/softgoods.php\" target=\"_blank\">custom branded softgoods<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproductions.com\/blog\/2016\/04\/29\/event-recap-the-nfl-draft-selection-square\/nfldraft-4\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3699\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" support scaffold wall for the 40 Yard Dash interactive fan area.
