It’s already been a great start to the new year for Mountain Productions. People from all over the world welcomed 2013 at Times Square during the New Year’s Eve celebration (or stayed warm and enjoyed the show from the comfort of home). Another great event that took place on the first of the year was a Philadelphia tradition: the Mummer’s Parade<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The parade is not only a celebration of the New Year, but a competitive event that is taken very serious by Philadelphia natives. The Mummer’s tradition has roots in Roman history, where laborers would wear masks and march throughout the day. Mountain Productions provided seating<\/a> and the judges’ platform for this exciting parade. A bleacher system was installed for public seating.
