The ceremony welcomed Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson as the hosts of the 2014 event with musical performances by Fifth Harmony, Patti LaBelle, Ne-Yo and more. For this year\u2019s tree lighting, Mountain Productions provided the main stage, an <a title=\"Mountain Productions' SL-320 Mobile Stage\" href=\"http:\/\/mountainproductions.com\/staging\/mobilestages\/sl320.php\" target=\"_blank\">SL-320 mobile stage<\/a> along with additional <a title=\"Mountain Productions' Staging Support Structures\" href=\"http:\/\/mountainproductions.com\/staging\/support.php\" target=\"_blank\">support structures<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2075\" src=\"http:\/\/mountainproductions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/xmastree_1-590x278.jpg\" alt=\"xmastree_1\" width=\"590\" height=\"278\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The SL-320 was built with a deck area to stage right. Custom fill decks were built to seam the gap between the stage and the angled deck platform. The stage design was an updated aesthetic from previous years, with a gold backdrop and a festive lighting arrangement to match the colorfully lit tree.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2076\" src=\"http:\/\/mountainproductions.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/xmastree_2-590x471.jpg\" alt=\"xmastree_2\" width=\"590\" height=\"471\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Complementing the SL-320, Mountain provided a 41\u2019 t x 28\u2019 w <a title=\"Mountain Productions' Front of House Mix Positions\" href=\"http:\/\/mountainproductions.com\/staging\/support\/foh.php\" target=\"_blank\">mix position<\/a>, custom <a title=\"Mountain Productions' Stair Systems\" href=\"http:\/\/mountainproductions.com\/staging\/support\/stairs.php\" target=\"_blank\">stairways<\/a>, 2 scaffold <a title=\"Mountain Productions' Video Supports\" href=\"http:\/\/mountainproductions.com\/staging\/support\/video.php\" target=\"_blank\">video towers<\/a>, a series of camera platforms, 2 <a title=\"Mountain Productions' Delay Towers\"
