The Margate Pop Festival, now in its second year, is hosted by the Gold Foundation and sponsored by many local businesses. The Gold Foundation has raised funds for 35 local charities over the past 17 years. Beneficiaries have included the Atlantic County Women's Shelter, American Heart Association, ARC, Camp Sunshine, Disabilities Resource Center and the Shirley Mae Fund.
