In 1994 BWM opened their first US plant in Greenville, SC. The plant was constructed to build the newly released Z-series roadsters. Consisting of the stage, lighting towers, individual chairs and bleachers, the event was attended by over 15,000, including the plant management and employees, city officials, BWM executives and the press.
